But basically you write a story line. Create some character. You can leave the characters open for other writes to make.
Example: story line: Amy was a 16 year vampire who just moved and changed schools. It was hard for her to make friends, or even fall in love in a normal human school. But what happens when she moves to a town full of other vampires that go to her school. Will she finally be able to make friends or even fall in love?
(Male) character is popular in school. He comes from a strong line of vampires. But what happens when he meets Amy the new girl.
